John, I only have 1 copy and the ending is screwed up. I have to send several copies to various people. I can't get another one until the next practice on 2/3. However, I have called in a favor just for you. Stay tuned! In the mean time you can look at my picture next to the Green Bomb!!! The Boys gave me a horn for you to check out!!! No obligation!!!! (hehehehehehehe)
PS- Would your girls be interested in a short video of Daddy as the Drum Major of the Imperial Lancers? Bob

Bobby D, thanks for the gesture (DVD). I can wait. As for the other....the only horn I've played since St. Lucy's, is attached to my steering wheel.
Hard to believe there is a clip of 'Major McCree' walking down the middle of Broad Street, with a shako on my head!
For some reason this makes me think of "Tic-Tock Cleaners". Was that a place where we had our uniforms sent before the states & nationals? Don't know why that popped in...

Very Clever Boys! This picture was taken when I was 11 or 12 years old. Oh, and a Solo Soprano soon to be a 14 year old State and National Champion. The growth hormones had not kicked in yet. The helmets fit then but not now. They have to be custom fit. I used to be short! Not anymore!!! Not like some of us!!!! Egan, the next time you're up here call me! I'll meet you for a dog. Bob

HC has a number of videos on you tube. Very impressive is the 60 year biography of the corps 1946-2006. The sound quality is excellent.

Back to the future.

January 31 2008, 10:15 AM

Al Wujiack was a teammate of my brother John at Essex Catholic. Tuesday His son Connor (6-3, 215 lb freshman) and my nephew Steven Tamayo (5-9, 170 lb sophomore) covered each other in a JV basketball game between Seton Hall Prep and Columbia. Seton Hall won 70-51. Columbia won the previous meeting 47-45 when Connor was ill.
Al was a downneck guy from the Wilson Avenue area.

Cabs Alumni Corps

Renee, the Cabs Alumni has just started recruiting Ladies for the Color Guard. I could put your name in at the next practice!!! Maybe we could get some off the Lancer crew together!!! Deja-vu all over again!!! Reliveing all those long bus rides and the things that went on towards the back of the bus!!! I know Strallow and Egan would be interested. Wow, what a story that would be. Bob
