As you know I remember the family very well. I spent a lot of time with Dickie. I also worked with Billy from time to time delivering papers to the hospitals.
Hi Caroline - I think you might remember me. Didn't you marry Charlie Quin? How are his sisters, Nancy and Joan and his brother, Kevin. I remember you and your brother Dickie. Your mother was a nurse and assisted at the birth of my sister Melana. It was a difficult birth for my mother and we almost lost both Melana and my mom. Your mother baptised my sister at her birth. Your mom has always had a special place in my heart because of that. Hope all of your family are well. With love, Jean Doyle
Me again - I just looked at the second line of you name and saw Bradbury - Oh-not Charlie but John. How's John's sisters and brother. I remember Susan and John especially. Hope all the Bradburys are well. Jean Doyle
Dickie Dodds was in my SRL CLass of 58, and my very first job was working with Billy Dodds and Jimmy Kane delivering newspapers mornings and afternoons to four hospitals: St Mike's, Presbyterian, East Orange General, and Clara Maase.
It was a great experience, but at $1 per shift, it wasn't a financial success - not for me anyway.
Hello Bill and to Jimmy Kane (whom I met at a recent ST. Rose function in Manasquan).
