Thanks to everyone.I am home and fine.If wednesday was Saturday my herat would have beaten Big Brown in thr Derby. Heart rate got up to 240. If I did'nt have a defibrilator I really would have had a problem. It was partly my fault for missing some medication. If the doctor says you need it ,you better take it. I'll never miss apill again. hope to see everyone next month.
Glad to hear you're home,Bernie. See what happens when you don't follow doctor's orders? Please don't scare us anymore, OK? Hope to see you at the game on Friday, if you're up to it.
Bernie,
Great to hear that you're home!
We'll let you get away with that ONE First Friday miss... but you'd better be at the Bear's game on Friday. Doctor's Orders! Seriously, we hope you can make it.
There probably won't be enough excitement at this level of baseball to have any impact on your Defibrillator!
Hi everyone! Bernie is back in St. Barnabas. His defibulator fired again on Sunday, while he was just sitting watching TV. Got him to St Barnabas, while in ER his heart rate bounced from 80 to 210 and everywhere in between. Took them nearly 3 hours to get it to stay in the 80's. Since it was the holiday weekend, his Dr hasn't seen him yet. Hopefully she'll see him today. We don't know if the Defibulator was doing it's job when he had a arrithmia or it charged for no reason. Hopefully tests today will let us know if it was his heart or the machine. Once they know what happended, we get a course of action.
Keep Bernie in your prayers again.
