Saw in today's local papers down here the dogs were destroyed,
Rick's aunt is still in hospital (Today is Friday) and
the owner of the dogs isn't charged with anything.

Well, if that don't take the rag off the bush. The owner should be jailed.

It a shame the dogs were destroyed. They could
have been pets for incarcerated inmates like uh,
Michael Vick. (I heard he now goes by Michele?)

She has had two surgeries and is facing a third. She is a single woman and Rick is her closest relative. We wish them well.

The pit bull left it's teeth marks imbedded in Miss Torti's skull and shredded her nerves in her right shoulder to the point that her right arm is paralyzed She will soon be 83 years old and is still in intense pain. I think the dogs got what was coming to them and I love animals. But Miss torti did save her beloved little dog.

What a shame. And the owner gets off scott free. This isn't right.

Miami-Dade County, Florida has a ban on Pitbulls as pets. Anyway there caught with a Pitbull will have the dog confiscated and they will be fined. I wish more places would make it illegal to own a Pitbull.

In Newark the drug dealers use pit bulls to fortify their dens against police raids, and they've come up with a nasty twist; they'll have the dog's vocal cords surgically removed. This way you can't even hear it until you've got a lap full of pit bull.
