Since accepting an inviation from my niece in Maryland, I have been keeping in touch on a daily basis with over 70 old friends and relatives. I have people in England, Germany, and all over the USA. I found a long lost McCree relative in Nottingham, U.K. It is not just for kids. I have 6 people in their 60's on my list, as well as many former employees, students, and kids I coached. One old kids is now a councilman and another a Broadway star. Mark will hear from many guys from the old team on Facebook. Best website going, except for BODHOLT'S DINER. You share a lot of photos with friends and family.
Mark was about ten years older than us but was right out there playing football and softball with us. He sometimes played with MISTER CROWLEY on our little team. He lived on Third Street next door to Tony Hammed, Ray Iannuzzi, and Jay
Sexton and across the street from Joe Grabowy and Joe Schrama.
Facebook is a good way of staying in touch, even for us old people. My sister, wife, sons, three nephews, niece, 22 former co-workers, some living in Africa and the UK, some favorite ex students and Mac Torluccio are on it. Good way to see pictures of all the babies and kids. Lot of school, alumni groupos have pages, as well as causes. it is private to non approved friends

For your family I am Cindy, Jackie's daughter a friend of your parents. We lived on the first floor of 105 Third Street, our landlord was Louie Castellano and his wife was Rose. The Spanos' lived next door to your Mom and Dad on the third floor a family with 3 girls Tina, Tessie ,Sophia and a son Billy (deceased,at an early age of about 24 ) father Tom and mother Helen .It was a six family apt. building. I can't tell you how much fun we had.
I also can't tell you how much I wanted to have a married life like your Mom and Dads. There were always sweethearts and soulmates even at a young age I could see that. They were so happy and conciderate of each other.
Lorie amd Mark I have tried to get in touch with you so many times but lost touch. I am glad to hear of your 50 50th anniverisary. It doesn't surprise me. May God continue to bless your marriage.
Did you know Jimmy Downey? He came to a softball game in the mid-80's with a young lady named Sophie to see old friends (Bernie Mooney, Frank Pitt, Frank Caimpi, John Mooney, and Gene Mooney) play softball against Jim Jensen and the channel 2 all stars. I was friends with Ray Iannuzzi, Mark, Mike Torluccio, Jay Sexton RIP, and others. Wasn't a younger brother of yours friends with Ray's little brother? this web site and Facebook are great ways of hearing from people from the old days.
