This 2004 photo by Justin Makler was taken from the Jewish graveyard on So. Orange Avenue next to the Parkway and shows our old friend the Pabst Bottle (nee the Hoffman Bottle). Man, I miss it when I drive by the place where it used to be.

When I was a kid we lived at 533 W Mkt St. And if I went upstairs to visit a friend who lived on one of the higher floors, I could look out her window,across the city, and see the Hoffman Soda Bottle.Coming home from the shore as a child, when we passed by the bottle it meant we were almost home. I miss it too.
