I promised myself to try and see all three Yankee farm clubs play this summer: Wilkes-Barre, Trenton, and Staten Island. I am meeting my son Mark, who lives in Ewing, in the Thunder parking lot Thursday at 11 am for a noon game. Can you make it? Can any of our illustrious dinner crowd make it?

How about after?

July 8 2009, 9:02 AM

I played golf Monday for first time since surgery. I'll be
in the middle of a production run 24/7 until Friday. I will be
at the Shamrock Pub in Hamilton (Not the Shamrock Tavern, Ewing)
at 5 PM Thursday. Stop by, start a tab in my name, I'll be there. I don't
think I can make the game, but you never know.

Welcome to the blood sucking Capital of New Jersey. Remember? You only
pat tolls when leaving New Jersey. It's free to get in.

Good enough.

I will be disguised as Chis Carlin. Have to take rain check on the bar.

Chris Carlin, Himself it is.

Your dying your hair red and getting a perm?
That's worth the price of admission. Remember,
kids eat free at Thunder games. I think "Molina"
from Yankees is rehabbing here now.

But following in the long line of great St. Rose runners he was two time Essex County champ in the 800 meters.

Better than the Bears.

July 9 2009, 4:23 PM

Actual major league farmhands, not released players in the late 20;s, early 30's. All 19 to 23. $12 to sit 6 rows behind home plate amid 8 major league scouts charting each pitch and using radar guns. Free parking. Free programs. And yes, Jimmy free food for kids. Amazed at all the major leaguers who played at Trenton over the past few years. From Nomar to Jaba. And in rehab, Roger and Derrick. next time, Jimmy, we have to attend game together.

We need the box

July 9 2009, 8:57 PM

Let's get the upstairs box. I'm working on it.
A friend of mine is running for mayor, so i'll
get the box for a fund raiser.

Jimmy, Let me guess. Is your friend a Far Right Neo-Conservative? I'll go to the game but, no political contributions! My money will go to the Bar bill! BD

But I do have to salute the Bears

July 10 2009, 6:57 AM

They are holding IRISH HERITAGE NIGHT tonight. Jimmy, don't you celebrate that every night?

No No No

July 10 2009, 7:57 AM

Whoa, don't use anything close to an "N" word.
(Neo-conservative?) He's 6'3", 290 + and I gave
him the name "Big Black". Trenton is a non-partisan
election. His name is Keith Hamilton and he's all that.
Trenton would rebound with Keith. He's currently a Mercer
County Freeloader, I mean "Freeholder".

You buying the beer? Good it's $52 bucks a case. You can
buy bottles of Vodka and Gin for less with the mixers.

Jesus

July 10 2009, 2:31 PM

Trenton has a 19 year old catcher/dh named JESUS who looks like another Mike Piazza at the plate. Do not let the yankees trade him in the Halliday deal.
