Here's a pic of a '59 just like mine that I drove 1971 - 1972. It had "three on the tree" and drove like a charm.

Those guys on my old man's baseball team will remember his '61 Corvair, much like this one below. The engine was in the rear, the trunk was in the front and the back seat folded down flat. A cool old car.
