Sorry, but got to agree. Its only 4 games into the season and the first defeat but clearly there needs to be questions asked. Ossett at best where ordinary, so it says something about our performance.
What was really disapponting was the manner of the defeat. To be honest we never really really looked like scoring. Vicarage ran his heart out, but up front with no support and chasing long hopeful (should that read hopeless)long balls is simply not good enougth. We all appreciate the financial difficulties but the faithful, and there where probably as many if not more than home support there, deserve better.
Its easy to be critic (and we have plenty of them) and if truth be said we all appreciate that its not easy, but is it about time we looked at the manangers role. Mr Sharpe has now been in the job 18 months and no doubt has done his best but relegation (and that what it feels like) and a struggling side speak volumes. Mark Hancock seems to be making a good fist at the job at the Barnsley junior outfit and might be interested unless he is in for the Newcastle job.
