Steve - there are obviously rumblings of discontent about the manager on here.

I think some of them could be allayed if Mr Sharpe could take about 10 minutes, shortly after a match (doesn't have to be the same day even), to post his thoughts etc on the website - lots of managers of teams of a similar standard to ours do this kind of thing - I even saw one the other day who actually apologised to the supporters (via a website) for the team he picked being rubbish.

I am sure that if fans knew what Sharpey had been trying to achieve in a particular match or the problems that he was having, then people would be far more understanding & patient - though patience is not an overused virtue in SE!

Jimmy, your talking about Phil Sharpe here, the guy can't even be arsed to write some programme notes or watch the academy or other teams in search of better players, if we are being honest, Jimmy walker is a decent signing and Matt plant are Fisher are great young players, but these players were brought by Brian Johnson the academy manager. Sharpey brought in James Thompson and let dan sheriffe go, Thompson will not even play for frickley. I would love to see Phil on here but to be honest as you will have seen by his body language at ossett, he doesnt care. He just does not care enough.
