If you are asking about Chris Fawcus, he left a few weeks ago I think he's playing at Parkgate.

Matt Moran and Paul Bradley have also left recently. Moran apparently lives close to Burton on Trent and was finding the travelling difficult.

Looks to me that Bradley has thrown the towel in. We need players that are up for a fight and thrive on competition not ones who live in a comfort zone. Maybe the NCE league is his level.

I'm sure Gary Marrow will be on the look out for replacements.

Marrow is clueless. One win in 11 matches and still he swaps and changes, messes and meddles, but to no effect. What about the lads he's brought in and doesn't play? The players who've come and gone the following wek? It must say something about the way in which he manages the team.

Interesting views, you would'nt happen to be one of the players who has left would you?

I suppose you are forgetting, or have the memory of a goldfish, that when Marrow took over we where rooted to the bottom of the league with players who shouldn't have been playing at this level of football.

Does it really matter how many players we use as long as we stay in the league this season?

Can I also ask..........have you been to the recent games where we have played teams who are at the top of the table and been the better team but unfortunately not got the result?

Stay in your goldfish bowl unless you have something constructive to say!!

In reply to your first question, the answer is a categorical NO! The tone of paragraph two implies, I suppose, that goldfish have very short memories. I would ask how you know this? But then here is not the time or place to discuss the merits or otherwise of a goldfish’s memory. I would add however, that third from bottom is hardly a vast improvement on 2003/04.
In answer to question two, I would say YES. Surely, the basis for success and improvement is centred around stability and familiarity. No matter what level of football a team is playing at, the rules are the same. Money can never be an excuse. A manager should use his knowledge and experience of the game to bring in the right players. Frickley league fixtures shouldn’t be used as a test bed. Whatever happened to friendlies or training matches? And finally, to answer your last question, yes I have! And you can bleat on all you like about the team’s performance and what they deserve but unless the ball bulges the back of the net, something is not right. Now what was I talking about???????????

You're talking rubbish if you think we haven't got a better team playing better football than when Phil Sharpe was in charge.

And you must have watched the Guiseley, Witton and Workington games with your eyes shut. We deserved something from every one of those games. Since Marrow took over we've been outplayed by Whitby, Gresley and Farsley and competitive in every other game. Massive improvment in my opinion.

Have a look at the players stats since Marrow took over I think you'll find the following: Ingham, Robinson, Selby, Kennedy, Daly, Woolford, Russell, Pugh, Ashley, Nazha, Tracey and Foley have been involved in every game except when they have been injured or cup tied. So where is the instability there?

In my view Marrow's knowledge of players is as good as anyone at this level. To attract players of the calibre of Kennedy, Ingham, Nazha, Chambers and Daly is not easy when bigger clubs are competing for their signatures so how can he be clueless?

You obviously have a grudge with Marrow, has he released you recently?????

In my view he's getting together a group of players who will allow us to compete against any team in the Unibond Premier League.

Please don't come on this website if you aren't going to be sensible.

Thanks

I quite agree, difference of opinions are what makes good forums, as long as they don't engage in childish banter against each other
