There are no facilities for young people in Beara, while living in rural Ireland obviously means being cut off from most services there must be something provided for the young people in the area. Teenagers in the area are turning to underage drinking and drugs in their droves and the obvious pitfalls associated with these are plain to see across the peninsula. Another few years of neglect of the youth of Beara and the area could be destroyed for decades to come!
