I admit I use qbasic because I am not interested in programming - I just want to get a result with the least grief. This is what qbasic offers you can get away with a lot.

Just a word of caution to those of a nervous disposition I don't think a basic program is a basic program without line numbers and plenty of "GOTOs" (yes I love them).
