I guess you saw the following button:
[Do NOT press this to post a program! Instead, read the rules]
If you just came to the subforum for the first time and plan to post a program you are proud of, do not press that button and then simply post your program. If you do, your program will be deleted without any ceremony. I hope you kept a copy. I am surprised by the number of people who can't do this right and thus I finally decided to supply these incredibly detailed instructions instead of the nice simple set I had before. :-(
INSTEAD, DO THIS:
1) If you have not already done so, start a new thread by pressing that button after all, but do not post a program. Instead make a post where the title is simply be your name. You can have no text (no asterisk required), but you might want to supply some information about yourself. Look at thread "Mac" for an example. But look at other threads to see that most people have no text. I don't know why. Shy, I guess.
2) NOW you can post any QBasic programs you are proud of as responses to your name. Post source code only, not URL's; especially not URLs leading to EXE files.
If you want something that you submitted corrected, make a temporary reply to what your want changed with your instructions and I will edit your stuff as requested and then delete your temporary reply.
In particular, you may want to change your personal information, especially if your email address has changed.
Thanks for your contribution
Mac
