door latches

I have restored several old dodge trucks over the years and the one thing thats always a challenge to find is drivers side door latches - I have rebuilt a few because even though it appears the outer assembly is hooped in reality it is the mechanism INSIDE that has had it. You can have me rebuild one for you OR you can find an auto wrecker with a wrecked late 50s Dodge or Plymouth FOUR DOOR and remove the back left latch assembly - even though the door handle may be different on alot of these model years the latch assembly is the same - Always try for the rear door because most back doors are used less
