As far as I know -- Marge's kids don't live on their parent's property. I believe one of them live in the old house, where ever that was.
But I do have to interject here as both of my brothers at one time lived in trailers, and my wife was raised in one, and her parents still live in it.
A lot of hard working people live in trailers. Whether some think it is better to rent, or live in their parent's basement (which I'm not frowning on either -- I lived with my parents a long time -- on and off as I frequently worked out of town at length for a period of 5 or 6 years).
Anyway, this "trailer" bothers me, and it says a lot more about those using the term than it does about the people that live in them.
Frankly we've considered it, given that the construction standards here are the same for trailers (or manufactured homes as they are more often referred to now) as for normally built homes. Especially if we were to move out of town, it is an ideal quick alternative to building from scratch. And some of the floor plans are gorgeous.
