Time will tell

I think yor right in many respects. This last vote has turned many ideas of what congress would do backwards. I'm not a republican, but they have certainly done the nation a favor by stalling a poorly conceived piece of legislation.

The Senate is working to make a blend that may be more acceptable.

What is happening is things are mellowing out on their own.

Panic is also slowing in that everyone understands that Government is often too hysterical for anyones benefit.
