Meaning is the condition of ones understanding, and this can vary and therein lies the purpose of the term meaning... which is to point to the fact that meaning is not universal but relative in those planes which are relatively true.
I believe that "meaning" only become constant and universal when one touches upon the Absosute Reality of Spirituality. Truth in an Absolute sense is the same Truth for all, in other words. But until one experiences this Truth, all else is but relatively true.
