Response to James Chapter 2 (Con't)

Perhaps it's the whole idea that the rich have their eyes fixed on worldly things ("hard to pass through the eye of the needle"), which 'they' can control, rather than on the things of heaven, which require submission to attain? The rich can pretty much control the courts, so that's where they go; they don't need to submit at all. The poor can't control the courts, so they must rely on God.

The rich don't have to love their neighbors - but the poor have no other option happy.gif. So the rich, in the end, lose everything while the poor gain everything. God does things differently from us humans.
