Not by the blood of bulls, goats etc is sins removed but only covered...
But
John 1:29 (KJV)
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
What a thought what a blessing.
When Jesus died as the perfect sacrifice, He removed the sin of the world and destroyed the power of sin itself. God forgives our sin (1 Corinthians 5:7). In calling Jesus the Lamb of God, John pointed to Jesus as the substitutionary sacrifice provided by God.
