Response to 2 Cor. 3:6
I realize what it is about Jack. But it is also about people attempting to walk in their own righteousness by the letter, rather than in His Spirit also.
Nor is it wrong for the letter itself to kill either. But only if that one is filled to overflowing with the Spirit, will that death be of value. Otherwise that one will simply only end up being dead.
You should understand that being a pastor. And even know what I am saying too.
Also to understand that scripture does hold spiritual meanings to them as well as the natural. Not doing away with either. Which some try to do. But only if they do not see in the spiritual will that happen.
And you also know I am not talking as some do we both know either. As they are entirely unbalanced in the opposite way, denying the natural. And therefore just as much of an abomination before God as those that only walk in the natural entirely by their own efforts and not via the Spirit that does bring life.
But I was also not talking to you either but to Dave. Who I believe needs encouragement to seek the Lord for Himself instead of what other men go around teaching him all the time.
But of course, if it is his choice to do otherwise. then I have to say amen, so be it. That being his choice. IMO we are to do what the Word says, there in John chapter 10 just as much if not more today than we are to take concil with other like minded believers as well. Which I also do too, by the way. Most here on network 54 just do not know what I do, so thought I would let you know. I have pastor friends on and off line I take council with all the time about what I do believe.
But I have also opened the door to let the Lord in, often sitting at the feet of Jesus so He can reveal things to me spiritually too. Listening to what He has to say also. Just as He says we are to do written in Rev. chapter 3 in the letter to the church of Laodiceans. You know, the one that believes they are rich, in need of nothing from him, but they are not.
If we are living in the end times, some had better start doing so before it is to late IMO.
If you do not begin right in the Lord, neither will you be able to continue on ending right either.
Some use scripture whenever it serves to prove what they have chosen to believe. But then reject or ignore others whenever it doesn't, but instead is contradictory to what they have chosen to believe. Instead of finding out why some do contradict others dealing with the same subjects.
Love in Christ,
