Excellent post. Your friend thinks well.
My take:
Atheism is most
insistently a belief, and makes insistent claims which cannot be denied by its believers on pain of "political incorrectness"; it's not an absence of belief in God - it is a definite and insistent statement that THERE IS NO GOD. Atheism therefore is both a belief and a philosophy, with definite dogmas and doctrines which must be followed by its faithful.
It is, in fact, a faith just as Christianity is a faith. It fits in fine with secular humanism, new age "Christianity", and any other Satanic denials or distortions of God's existence and nature.
Every single thing atheists say about themselves is untrue.
It follows, then, that whatever an atheist says about his faith is simply a discombobulation purposely designed for deception of the listener. Satan is quite happy to be denied if it means denial of God as well; nevertheless, whether atheists recognize it or not, they are liars and Satan is their father.
