[Leviticus 19:34]:
34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

[Galatians 5:14]:
14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

we don't lead him into a ditch but instead, because we can love, due to the beam being taken out of our own eye, we are able to help be the guide they need:

if the neighbor doesn't believe you can guide them out, they may rather fall into the ditch

people are often led into a ditch out of ignorance, both theirs and also of the leader they look towards...and that I see as excusable. I also think God is quite capable of getting folks out of any ditch they happen to be in.

God is the ONLY ONE who can get us out of the ditch, and the reason I witness of Jesus Christ so much is because thats how he LIFTED MY SPIRIT out of the ditch:

I don't take credit for it, but give it all to God who in Christ Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith:

we can't even have faith without God, so why brag about our own abilities?

I find it difficult that others can't see when someone gives credit to God and thinks they are taking the credit for themselves:

this is what I mean about not being able to discern evil from good:

I have never taken the credit in 17 years and yet, I get all kinds of accusations, but then I am able to discern the accuser of the brothers:
