Darling, Dot was mischaracterized in S4. Along with everybody else on the cast, in case you hadn't noticed. The season 4 fervor wasn't mostly negative. Alright, I'll go so far as to say she treated him like dirt. But let's not toss away all of seasons 1, 2 and 3. Don't forget all the respectful flirting and eventually "The Kiss". And if Season 4 must be included in the tally, let's look at the after of the Meggy/Dot almost-wedding: Dot wouldn't talk to Bob about their relationship. If she hadn't cared, she would've just broken it to him. "Look Bob, this isn't working out." But she felt incredibly guilty. Dot and Bob are a designated couple forever.

Dot is the victim, Bob is the victim...all are the victims of season 4.
