THIS IS AN IMPORTANT NOTICE
The GALACTIC ORDER OF TOWELERS HAS CREATED A TOWEL STORY CONTEST TO HONOR DOUGLAS NOEL ADSMS.
A Procastinators extention as been given to all Towe4l Story Writers. This is because Douglas Adams procastinated, and had writers block. That's when the writer would walk around his block until he could think of what to write. You can therefor overcome it, do a rewrite, and resubmit your towel stry, finish writing one you were working on or had an idea for. Ask questiuons regarding previous submistions some of which were lost due to as problem with the e mail site, and also because some of the links to infromation on Rules vanished in early April making some think the contest was over.
THE NEW DEADLINE (not being punny) IS MAY 31 2002.
HOOPY TOWEL STORY CONTEST RULES
The Towel Story must be 420 word or more. Pictures count as 4 words, but must relate to the story or it*s meaning.
The story must be adout your adve3ntures with your towel, or your towels adventures from any perspect5ive, but must be accurate to the perspective.
Quotes from the Hitchhiker*s Guide To The Galaxy can be
used as a gateway into the story, as narrative, or to aid with the flow of the story. Seudo Quotes may be used.
Towel Story must be acceptable to all ages. I have found some great ones but they were Adult (PG 13 or R)
I will send if you prove you deserve it but not publish.
Story may be submitted as a website since nothing can be put on Webtv exceot as a Web Site.
Story must be your olwn creation though can be inspired by comment in the Guide Book, TV Series or Radio Show.
Theree is no age limit, cultureal, philosophical, or
similar limitations to wrtiting a story except that you are sentient. Reminds me whern I was on Planet Denum. It is inhabited by Sentient Towels...
The winning entries wiull be posted on the Towel Song Tribute along with some Stories already collected and posted on it which inspired the contest.
