It's nothing papu. Congratulations for the great show.
We hope the Sydneysiders develop a taste for our culture. We will do all the support this end in whatever way we are able to. LK will require children and adults to teach the basic steps. The Kametan children dancers and their mother will be returning here in a couple of months. Nowadays, getting kids to practice in own lounge rooms off garamut beat recordings will make recognising the garamut notes and rythms a lot easier. Children (and adults) build up courage and self confidence that way when parents and siblings are the only ones spectating them, laughing, encouraging or critiqueing them.
Congratulations to you and your hard-working team for hosting a great show. It's like that 20th anniversary at UNSW which is still a very fond memory for us up here.
Keep up the good work, papu.
All the best. |
