Response to A fine Australian role model for Papua New Guineans |
| Con-man Peter Foster pleaded guilty in the Brisbane Supreme Court and was subsequently sentenced on December 7, 2007 to four (4) and a half years imprisonment. Foster is now detained in a Queensland prison.
I fail to see how Peter Foster represents a fine role model for anyone, let alone Papua New Guineans. I doubt he is welcomed back in Fiji or Vanuatu.
Given Foster's great and ongoing affection for small, corrupt Pacific nation-states (I understand Foster spend his childhood years in Fiji), let's just pray to God he doesn't turn his attention towards 'the land of the unexpected' when he gets out of jail in Australia. |
