Well, about 17 hours ago things wound down at the Crosstown, signalling the end of another BolinFest. It sure seemed to come and go fast. I just wanted to take a minute and say thanks to Johnnie Bolin, Jim Wilson, Jim Rhodes, Scott and everyone else with the Bolin Foundation for putting on another memorable event. I appreciated seeing new friends I'd made last year and meeting several new friends this year. Seeing Black Oak Arkansas perform Hey Joe with Buddy Miles on vocals and Bobby Berge on drums was amazing. And watching Johnnie play guitar at the Crosstown was both captivating and eerie, for obvious reasons.
I'm still going over it all in my head, and will be for some time. Hope everyone made it home safely, and I remain thankful that the music of Tommy Bolin brought us together again. Until next time....Cheers! Todd Seely
