      Dear Bobby,
Man,I don't know what to say other than I have been dealing with the terminal illness of a close friend and
fellow musician. My girlfriend just bought6 me the Fostex VF160 16 track digital recorder with the CD burner onboard. This thing has got one Motherf#%!er of a
learning curve.I am however, prepared to do the vocals on a number of Tommys best tunes if you're still interested.Damn! You know the old saying the best laid plans of mice and men.
Regardless of your decision I do plan on attending this years fest and I hope I at least get the chance to meet
you.I would still Love to be your Vocalist for the jam!
Once I get back home I plan on starting work on a tribute CD of sorts with the proceeds going to a local charity.I am hoping to have the services of the Jazz drummer Jae Sinnett,Pianist John Toomey,Guitarist Bobby Messano, and maybe Scott Travis from Judas Priest who are all friends and or acquaintances. Wish me LUCK on this one.I know you must stay very busy, but if you can
shoot me a post back here if you get a chance.
      Thanks so much.
Laughing, midnight wine,we are the lovers kind, crying when we feel like it
      Peace out,
      Dave
