I had a laptop that ran Millenium Edition Windows. As far as I'm concerned Bill Gates owes me money. Help desk people would groan when I told them what OS I was running. It was a mess. I hear Vista isn't much better.
My laptop is running a little slow but still working. It's the machine that's a mess. (The battery never would hold a charge and the replacement only lasted 2 years. How I have to be careful and not move too suddenly or the power is disrupted and it dies.
I need a new battery but can't justify the expense unless this overtime laden job runs a few more weeks.
