No wonder I don't like any of them. I'm in the lower left, or "Libertarian Left" quadrant with Ghandi, the Dali Lama and Nelson Mandela... all the candidates seem to be in the upper right, or "Authoritarian Right" quadrant, much closer to each other than any of them are to me. LOL!

Every freakin' day on the news! Who the $&*@ CARES what George Bush Sr. says about the Clinton/ Obama take on NAFTA! How do you guys stand a year of it?! GOOD GRIEF!

Politics isn't my thing and we are having an election right away and the government is probably going to be brought down and we'll have another one soon. Between your election and my election - it is nothing but candidates and what they are doing on the news.

And I swear the campaigning gets longer and longer every time. Heck immediately after the last few Presidental elections they start talking about who will run the NEXT time!

How do we stand it? The mute button :-D In the newspaper? Oh we just skip those articles! LOL!!

Never thought about it! Cake would be a good start though huh!!! Personally I'm gonna celebrate by NOT turning on the tv all day! Especially the news, blech! Cake, I can spend my day baking! Works for me :-D

We've gotten t the point of nearly perpetual campaigning. It stinks! Especially when the candidates sit nearly side by side on the issues and their inability to step out of the ruts dug by their predecessors. It's enough to make you want to ... well... 'expel the contents of your tumtum'.
