"Kreis has reportedly been offered a new deal at about $150,000 per year. Jones has been asked to take a sharp cut from the reported $350,000-$400,000 he has earned since signing a deal with MLS several seasons ago. Agoos, too, has been offered considerably less than the reported $260,000 he earned last year."

The team pays that much for the certified piece of shiit.
Now, I know why el Zarco could not get his $70.000 contract. What a real bias, and shiity team.

At the price Kreis was being paid, I would think that he could play better. I guess with the Burn, the better you play, the less you earn.

I don't know how these MLS contracts exactly work, but Kries was signed to a multi-year deal years ago when he was having good seasons and the Burn couldn't win if he didn't play well.

So it sounds to me like he pretty much assured himself very good money years ago even if he plays awful or misses seasons by getting hurt. But maybe someone else here knows more about the cluases and can explain it better.

I guess you are right on the money Carlitos.
I wonder if the color of the player has anything to do with salaries too. I remember some one telling us that before.

Whoever was telling "us" that was not too smart because "The Devil" Etcheverry had an even fatter contract and was making huge salaries despite very low production over the last few years.

There is no "here" dum dum... did u think the Burn is some isolated independant franchise? get real... the whole league is run by 3 owners. When the day comes that seperate investors take over all the teams like it's supposed to be then come back with your silly observation about color and contracts.

Bitch Bitch Bitch thats all you guys ever do is Bitch. First players get paid based on the fan base. If Cobi Jones played for the Burnhe might bring in more fans to the stadium, he might not. If you disllike Kries fine dislike him, if you like him fine like him. Zarco left because he did not like the coach and so did Cerritos or did you lie to us with that info Baya. No one is forcing anyone to go to these matches you go because you want to. I did not see anyone else achieve what Kries has in this league. He was injured and that is ashame, but that comes in the territory of a professional athlete. Colour has nothing to do with a players ability and should be dropped. If Baya had his way he would want the entire Burn squad to be "HISPANIC." Baya you fail to realize that in this country there are discrimination acts. You probably want to say stuff about talent scouts not being hispanics, I have this to say they must not be qualified enough or all positions are filled. If someone in the front office is not performing then they can be terriminated and a position then opens up. You seem like an intelligent person, but sometimes I read your lack of brains. Finally (this goes to everyone) stop the racist name calling " RED NECK" "GRINGO" "WET BACK" We are all adults lets act like it.

Also I wanted to add to Kries is the #1 reason families and true fans come get rid of him today and look for a new city to host the Burn later. If that were to happen( which it is not based on Frisco) the city og Dallas is not guarrenteed another team.

That is fine with me. Perhaps that is also fine with the Hispanic fans too. He never amounted to anything for the hispanics as a whole. So, I guess it's time to call it even, Tiff fot taff.

Since the team needs the Hispanic customers to survive there is not other choice.

Off with his head.

PS. That would make more people happy than unhappy.

I agree the team needs for ethniticity to survive, but flooding the team with hispanics is not the answer. If these potential people are good and can control the midfield then hire them if the can score anywhere on the field again hire them. I feel from reading these forums is that some of you want ONLY hispanics and NO others based apon skin color. This is not right. There are good quality players all over and I feel it dose not matter who as long as they can put together a winning season I feel that is why the fans stopped beacuse it is an attitude like oh well The Burn are playing how bad they going to lose. I once saw a game where Mike subbed in Cerritos and a fan yelled Wrong guy Mike. Mike was the wrong choice. We need to give Colin the bennefit of the doubt and see what he has. I feel this if Colin was a Jaun from Mexico we need to stop this anti, Pro-hispanic thing and just talk like adults.

Show me a good reason to stop Baya and the Local Hispanic media.

I say give them Wagner's and Elliots jewls they may call it even.

What was the percent of Hispanic Customers? I heard 40% so to be even Steven I would give them 40% of the players and 40% of the front office jobs.

That will be just fine. no more no less.

I guess, It will be call equal representation or so? I do not know.

At least, That could be the begining for the negotiation, or so.

"I feel from reading these forums is that some of you want ONLY hispanics and NO others based apon skin color" -

Some kooks out there want that, Baya is the biggest example. Baya only has eyes for color and nothing else... that's what he bases a person's entire worth as a human being on, soccer players included. So Baya's philosophy is he will pay to drool over color, sot hat means he will be offended by black soccer players and possibly become physically ill.

But don't worry, I don't really think Baya's extremist racial policy is shared by that many people.

The sensible approach that a TRUE sports fan goes by is a professional team made up of the best players regardless of color. And what I want is for as many different sources of players to be scouted and made full use of. I couldn't care less if the entire roster was 100% hispanic, or 100% black or 100% asian or whatever.. AS LONG AS the reason for the exclusivity wasn't an official policy to turn away good players because of skin color or last name.

It seens to me that you want to hide the REAL RACIST PRACTICE of the team.

WHAT?

El Zarco was let go because he wanted $70.000 a year. The team opted to pay over 200.000 to other players that were not even 1/5 of Zarco Soccer and STYLE value.

Baya wants style. Baya is telling you exacly what the rest of the HISPANIC market wants. BUT you keep denying the FACTS. Do not come crying to him or the Hispanic media when the team folds for the lack of Hispanic support.

Calling Baya names because he bring the little brown voices fowards is not going to help the team. Keep in mind that the team needs him and his followers. He is our DE FACTO LEADER.

So, Give him the style he wants on players. Give him the right amount of JObs he wants for his Brown people. Give him what he want the right number of Hispanic players and everybody would be happy.

Keep hidding the "REAL SHIITY RACIST" issues That the team HAS NOW and they will go away for good.

DALE A PEDRO LO QUE ES DE PEDRO,and give to john what belong to Jhon.

"It seens to me that you want to hide the REAL RACIST PRACTICE of the team." -

Im not here to hide anything about any team. But a REAL racist practice would be to deny a player, any player a chance to play on the team because of a silly thing like skin color.

"El Zarco was let go because he wanted $70.000 a year. The team opted to pay over 200.000 to other players that were not even 1/5 of Zarco Soccer and STYLE value." -

I'm not going to defend any poor team decisions (though, what team doesn't make bad decisions sometimes in this world?) But anyway, thanks for giving us your entirely biased, 1-sided account of this situation.

"Baya wants style" -

Baya wants what? Style? PLEASEEE... if by magic the Burn created 22 Irish players but who played exactly with the skills and flair of the top Brazilian players you mean Baya would just keep quiet and be happy? Yeah, and pigs grow wings too... Baya wants COLOR, none of this style nonsense.

"Calling Baya names because he bring the little brown voices fowards is not going to help the team." -

I never called Baya names... Baya is the one who labels people according to thier skin color and calls everyone else names. What I do is accurately describe what he does... he gets mad because he knows I'm right.

"So, Give him the style he wants on players. Give him the right amount of JObs he wants for his Brown people." -

What is the "right" amount exactly? When Baya talks about a "right" amount, what he REALLY means is a myterious number that will never be reached and will keep Baya crying and throwing fits no matter what happens.

"Give him what he want the right number of Hispanic players and everybody would be happy." -

Yes, everyone will be so happy... everyone will hold hands and kiss each other every game and we'll all sing songs. This big myth about "everybody would be happy" is such nonsense and it's been said so many times and never happens. The trtuh is everyone will never be happy, there will always be something to keep us on edge.

"Keep hidding the "REAL SHIITY RACIST" issues That the team HAS NOW and they will go away for good." -

If this team ever goes bankrupt, ever folds, ever ends it will not be because they failed to pay "Green Eyes" Rodriguez or whatever racist claims people make. It will be because they screwed up putting forth the best possible marketing and failing to reach such a huge sports-paying public, failing to put local pro soccer on the map here.

Hmmm... This was exactly what I was posting about yesterday on the weekly poll area, when, all of a sudden, they take it out. They must've trashed the weekly poll, so now I'll go here. I basically said how stupid it was to not re-sign Kreis and that they should quickly can Benckhe to make room. But I wasn't nice about it.
