I am wanting to homeschool my DS (5). My husband is "less enthusiastic" than I am about it. He is reading about it and I think he is changing his mind.. we'll see.

Anyone with experience in being so passionate about it and your DH (or significant other) is not? How did/do you deal with it?

Thanks. I look forward to being a part of this group!!

Sorry no one has responded yet. I maintain these boards, even though I am out of the homeschooling business. I homeschooled all my boys through 6th grade, then they re-entered the PS system for some special programs that were available to them. I have never regretted homeschooling for one instant. I truly believe it was the best thing for my kids. From an academic point of view, it prepared my boys for the most rigorous programs available in our public schools.

There is such a wealth of information about homeschooling these days. My main advice would be to RELAX and enjoy this experience. Trust yourself. You'll do great!

Melissa
