Wow! I used to participate on the Kaleidoscapes forum. Neat to find something similar however used to the other style forum I am.

I have 4 kids from infant to teen. They have never been to school. YEAH!

I am gathering some new and old materials and realized I do not have some wonderful information that was once in my files. It was along the lines of the World Book Typical Course Study with ages and what types of things they should know but it was for Preschoolers - Pre K 2(yo) to K or something like that. I remember seeing it published on another website (with permission) but have since lost that site as it was several years and computers rebuilds ago.

I hope someone can help me find this. I will continue looking as it was invaluable at the time I had it.

Thank you

Hi!

February 12 2007, 7:02 PM

Glad to see you found us...
I'm pretty much out of the homeschooling biz - my kids are in college and high school, and I'm now a (gasp) public school teacher! But my homeschooling roots still come through. I'm convincing some teachers at my school that the best way to get kids to read BETTER is to get them to READ. And the best way to get them to read is to help them find something they enjoy, and not test the life and joy out of it.

Do I still sound like a homeschooler?
