Never knew your politics brother and never knew YOU ... but as I compromise my machine to speak to you I say this: a man lives and breathes by and is judged by what he did ... Brother if you sinned I think you repent ... I don't thump any bibles but I know the Lord (he don't thump bibles either) ... I think you know the Lord too like I do (and you know what I'm saying man!!)... I speak like the good Kris Kristoferson did, just to give you a flavor of who I am ...now THAT man had some good words and I think he knew who he was ... he spoke a truth we know ... Can I say this man?? ... thank you for being there ... for the space you gave to the lonely rider, travelling on the backroads, seeking no one ... seeing no one ... just riding and trying to survive ...
These days I feel a bit of life in me but I can look back to some bad times, when I was some dude in the shadows, with nothing to offer anyone except trouble ... but I'm here now and sometimes pessimism gets the better of me and I don't have much good to say ... but other times what I'm about to do ... quitting my job and going back home ... makes me free even if I lose everything ...
I see Texas on your name man ... so you know the prairie ... 883 is me ... quite a bit north of you ... I'll be ... and I'll help where I can ... and I'll cruise my mountains when I miss 'em ... but mostly I'll just ride those prairie highways and do what I can to live a good life in my prairie home ... Live man, and make the Good call ...
