I couldn't tell from the first installment whether this one will hold my interest. The next installment will probably be critical.
I was a little put-off by a tinge of a cutesy, pollyanna tone. I'm drawn more to off-beat books with a hint of resigned pessimism (I feel so much better since I gave up hope--that sort of thing). I am definitely not a reader of Reader's Digest, ray of sunshine books.
