      At least I learned what a euphemism is ( I was sure off the mark) and some examples - in case you are interested here are some - thank goodness for copy and paste -

      EUPHEMISM (use of a word or phrase that is less expressive or direct but considered less distasteful, less offensive, etc., than another)
