      After reading all five installments. I found myself very involved with the characters. How Larkin came into the world. Who was the main characters in his life, and what childhood events played a part in who and what he will become. Granny and Arty reminded me of my grandmother and aunt, "family". This is a good read for those who enjoy finding out who, what, how, a character will live and love his or her life.
