Being a native West Virginian I've endured my fair (sometimes feels un-fair) share of hillbilly jokes. But reading the history of the people who settled our state and Appalachia helps clear the misconceptions about the way "we hillbillies act." I thank Mr. Webb for approaching this project and providing a book that cultivates appreciation of a shared heritage.
