I'm hoping this gets back to where we were going. I understand why he's writing about what he's writing about, but it's really uninteresting to me and is making me not want to read right now.
I think the first day's read made me think it was going to be more attuned to anyone who has customers, but now it seems more for salespeople to figure out if their potential customers will really want to hear from them.
I'll keep reading tomorrow and may end up checking this book out from the library, just to see what else Mr. Stinnett has to say. The title of the book intrigues me and seems like it would be applicable to any profession.
"What wild desires, what restless torments seize
The hapless man, who feels the book-disease..."
- Dr. John Ferriar (from the poem Bibliomania, 1863)
