I could really tell this is a story written by a man. All the daughters trying to solve mom's problems by telling her she needs a man/sex. Even though my parents are still very happily married I could never imagine suggesting this to my mother if my father was no longer here. I really liked Term of Endearment but this one seems a little forced.
