If authors stopped writing about the evil in the world, no one would believe it ever happened. It's hard to believe that such cruelty and inhumanity existed. We don't want it to ever happen again. Six MILLION Jews were killed on the orders of an egocentric madman. Those orders were carried out by family men who were just "doing their job".
But, in some instances, out of the horror came beauty, dignity and courage. That gives us hope for the human race.
