Brings back stories I have heard from people who also went through the WW2.My other half also has stories from living in Chicago during the same time, while I was 5 to 9 years living with parents in Pittsburgh (PA). I know people of this generation are not concerned with what one had to go through with the 2nd WW with ration books, blackout curtains, and victory gardens.
I have added more books to our reading, and library. piled on the floor because the book shelves are already full, thanks to your book club.
