As the Community Relations Director at a continuing care retirement community retirement community, the story of Sue Miller's father is very familiar. The families that I meet, quite often,do not realize that others are having similar experiences. They struggle along and alone, until they reach a crisis. Then they are forced to make crucial decisions. I refer them to our dementia support group, where they meet other families and work with an experienced social worker.
