It would appear so ,Zoe. I liked the style and crave more. I am going to reserve the book at our library this weekend!I enjoy a novel more when you can flesh out the characters in your mind. And this one does so. I also usually read mystery books written by women, notably, Sue Grafton,( totally hooked) Joan Hess, and Jill Church.The two exceptions are holdovers from my mom's taste ,Dick Francis and Robert B.
