I think that Joe don't know about how much his family dose make in a week. I know he's 14, but still he may not have know how much it take to make that much money. He never had to work for it. Maybe it was true that all he got in the past was a cake. I don't think that they should just give the bike for him. I have to agree with Joe's dad, that he should work for it. Then he gets to know how much it takes to get what you want and he will be more appreciate he's bike more. I think Joe's mum is right that kids needed time to be kids too, but he's at that age now, that he should know what a dollar's worth.
I got to ask you, sunflower, did you know what a dollar's worth was before your mother made you work in the blueberry fields? I don't think she hate you, she just want to know what it take to make that much money. |
