      This book is an excellent glimpse into part of WWII. The characters are engaging, and Tricia Goyer does an excellent job writing about the not-so-wonderful sides of war, too. I didn't want to read about POWs, but because she had crafted characters that I cared deeply about, I had to read. I had to know what they went through. And the historical accuracy is impressive. You can tell Tricia has taken the time to interview veterans; the attention to detail and emotion is so authentic. A great read. I can't wait for the release of her new book this month.
