When I first started reading Grisham's latest, I did not realize it was a nonfiction work. As I read more into the book, I was so impressed by his research and facts that I read the bookjacket - something I don't do with his books normally either - and discovered it was not his usual genre.
I finished the book in two days, neglecting everything else. It was amazing, sad, an emotional roller coaster. What Ron Williamson went through his entire life should open all of our eyes to how our mental health community is treated in this country.
Grisham has found another niche in which he can excel. I hope he continues to find injustices to expose and lead us all down a path of enlightenment and education, thereby prompting us to fight for those who possibly cannot fight for themselves.
