Sounds like this character is going to go through quite a transformation as she does the work of healing. I suspect this transformation will show up in her artwork. I hope this aspect will be fully developed in the book.

I think this one shows promise. I love a good mystery and the beginning has me hooked.

This novel hits home. There was a suicide in my family and each one of us has taken years to handle it in our own way. I thought I would hit the delete key on this book, but I find myself curious about how she is going to handle the devastation and emptiness her father leaves in her life. I wish I could finish it now instead of waiting until January.

I can't wait for this book to come out. I am really hooked. It captured my interest right away. For a first novel, I think Sharon Doucet has a winner on her hands.

I think this book is going to be good and I am going to have to get it from the Library as soon as I can :)

i loved the book. great first novel. it made me think about my life and where i'm going.
