I am so happy to see that Richard Laymon's TO WAKE THE DEAD is being showcased. This is a fantastic read, as all of his are! It is worth the hardcover price. He has a strong following in the UK and the U.S. is finally discovering this cutting edge, and often truly frightening and titillating writer. Laymon is a must read for horror fans!
Somehow I missed the first chapter of this book, but it does'nt matter. I planned to read it as soon as I saw the author and have already reserved it. His books are great and I hope I never miss one. He is one of a few authors that I never fail to read, the other major one is Harry Turtledove.
